How do I reserve party equipment?
Choose a rental category, select the equipment, review the rental details and add the items to your cart. Enter the event address and customer information, request the quote, review it, sign the rental agreement, and pay the $20 deposit or full balance to reserve the date.
How much is the reservation deposit?
The reservation deposit is $20. Customers may also pay the full balance during the reservation process.
When is the final payment due?
Final payment is due before the equipment is set up or dropped off.
Is submitting a quote request the same as reserving the date?
No. A quote request allows you to review the rental details and total. The reservation is completed after the required booking steps, rental agreement and payment have been completed.
Can I submit a rental request outside normal business hours?
Yes. Quote and booking requests may be submitted online 24 hours a day.
How far in advance should I reserve?
Reserve after you know the event date, delivery address and equipment needs. Availability varies by date, so completing the reservation early provides more options.

Do you deliver party rentals?

Is inflatable delivery included?
Yes. Inflatable delivery and professional setup are included according to the rental terms.
Is tent setup included?
Yes. Deep South Event Rentals handles tent setup and takedown. Customers may not pick up or install rental tents themselves.
When is venue delivery free?
Free venue delivery may be available within 15 miles of the warehouse. The exact address and reservation details must be reviewed to confirm whether a delivery charge applies.
Do you deliver more than an hour away?
Customers planning an event more than approximately one hour from the company should contact Deep South Event Rentals directly before reserving.
Can I pick up rental equipment myself?
Customer pickup may be available for items other than tents and inflatables. Contact the company to confirm whether pickup is available for the selected equipment.

Space, Surface and Setup Questions
The usable setup area must include the equipment footprint, anchoring area, access and any required blower space.
How much space do I need for an inflatable?
Check the listed setup dimensions for the specific inflatable. The usable area must be large enough for the equipment, professional anchoring, blower placement and safe access around the unit.
What surfaces can rental equipment be set up on?
Stable surfaces such as grass, concrete and asphalt may be approved. The setup method depends on the equipment, surface and site conditions.
Can you set up on concrete?
A concrete setup may be possible, but the company must be notified in advance so the surface and correct anchoring plan can be reviewed.
Can equipment be set up on rocks or sand?
No. Rocks and sand are prohibited setup surfaces.
What should I check before the delivery crew arrives?
Confirm that gates, driveways and access routes are open. Remove vehicles, toys, pet waste and other obstacles from the setup area. Identify the surface type and make sure the required power and water connections can be reached.

What happens if rain is expected?
Contact Deep South Event Rentals as early as possible. Weather decisions, cancellation and any refund are handled according to the current rental agreement and public cancellation policy.
What is the cancellation policy?
A refund is available when the customer notifies the company at least 24 hours before the rental. No refund is available after the equipment has been set up, dropped off or picked up.
Will I receive a refund after the equipment has been set up?
No. Refunds are not available after equipment has been set up, dropped off or picked up.
What is the wind limit for inflatables?
Inflatables must not be set up or operated in winds of 15 mph or more.
Should an inflatable continue operating during unsafe weather?
No. Stop use when unsafe weather develops and follow the company’s operating and safety instructions.

Are wet and dry inflatables available?

Is the equipment cleaned between rentals?
Yes. Rental equipment is cleaned and sanitized after every rental.
What happens if rental equipment is damaged?
Damage beyond normal wear and tear may be charged up to the full replacement cost of the damaged equipment.

Do inflatables need electricity?
Yes. The blower must remain connected to an appropriate electrical source while the inflatable is in use.
How close must the electrical outlet be?
The setup generally must be within 50 feet of an appropriate electrical source unless an approved generator is used.
Can I provide my own extension cord?
Deep South Event Rentals provides its own extension cord to ensure the cord is the correct size and in suitable condition.
Are generators allowed?
Yes. Generators are allowed and may also be available to rent. Confirm the equipment and power requirements before the event.
Do water slides require a water source?
Yes. The customer must provide a working water source that can reach the approved setup location.
How much water hose is provided?
Deep South Event Rentals provides 50 feet of water hose. The customer must supply any additional hose needed to reach the setup area.
